You would think he would have more scars due to the battles he had with the ninja and other sources. Its been nice rewatching Ninjago and seeing the "newer" content (which was seasons after Skybound) that I haven't seen before. Lots of nostalgia from those early seasons. I just got done with Prime Empire and in the middle of the next season so thats where Im at currently.

In my sick little overwatch brain rotted mind I've thought of reasons why Mondatta was assassinated in the first place.

1. Talon thrives on conflict, so them keeping the human / omnic relationships fractured creates opportunities for Talon to exploit.

or

2. Ramattra works with Talon to get the hit on Mondatta to ensure Mondatta doesn't continue to lead Omnics to their demise.

I know its hard to think that he would do something like this but I personally believe that Ramattra did such thing.

His meeting with Doomfist at the end of Storm Rising helps with my little theory of mine. Why would Ramattra, leader of Null Sector, need help from Talon? A human runned organization. Well because Talon has the best sniper for hire and with Talons connections Ramattra can get in touch with manufacturers for his infantry and other powerful omnics and not to mention Zenyatta. At the end of the PVE missions theres a cutsence of Zenyatta in Survasa where Widowmaker and Sombra find Zen and Widow says "We found him." Ramattra needs to see Zenyatta again so he used Talons help with that.

What Doomfist gets in return is total utter chaos. Talon thrives when the world is at its most vulnerable.

Ramattra hates Mondatta. And I'm not saying that out of the blue here. No he hates how omnics look up to Mondatta for guidance and assurance, to look for freedom. Instead they are left hoping for a savior that will never come.

"....most of our people rested on the hope that Mondatta and the Shambali would save them." (ch. 2)

"Humanity...passed their weaknesses to him.” (ch. 5)

"Mondatta is sending our people to their deaths. He must pay for this..." (ch. 5)

That last part is very important for my argument.

Also the fact that Mondatta condemned Null Sectors uprising in Kings Row "...dishonoring Lanet, who died fighting to free her people." (ch. 5)

“The monks of Shambali condemn this attack on London. We seek peace with humanity, not violence.” (ch. 5)

With Ramattra losing his close friend Lanet, omnics all over comdemning Null Sector, Mondatta leading omnics on false hope there is only one solution to this problem.

To kill Tekhartha Mondatta.
