he’s  only  got  a  large  tear  wound  from  the  pit  of  his  arm  nearly  down  to  his  waist        not  in  bad  enough  shape  that  he’s  not  able  to  do  anything  ,    but  it’s  enough  that  they’ve  been  telling  him  to  keep  down  and  stop  moving  so  much  so  that  he  doesn’t  hurt  himself  .    by  now  ,    he’s  recovered  enough  to  help  with  jumps  and  ship  systems  ,    as  long  as  he  uses  his  good        and  non-dominant  ,    mind        hand  and  arm  to  do  things  .    it’s  a  real  bother  at  times  .

right  now  ,    frustrated  after  one  of  the  systems  kept  leaping  to  a  different  screen  ,    he’s  got  the  arm  of  his  spacesuit  in  one  hand  ,    standing  and  staring  pamela  down  ,    a  furrow  in  his  brow  .        ❝        can’t  stand  this  anymore  .    wherever  you  land  next  ,    i’m  goin’  out  there  with  you  .        ❞

While he has the money to replace clothing that has been torn or ruined during fights or escaping a crime, Crane prefers to keep items of his wardrobe that have been destroyed. Instead of throwing away old suits and shoes he repairs them, following a similar pattern to that of his mask featuring obvious stitching. This apparel sits in his wardrobe, forgotten, until he adds another piece to the ensemble. It’s exceptionally rare, but Scarecrow has been known to make an appearance wearing an outfit composed of an entirely stitched suit, matching pants, a distressed sweater, and stained button up.

𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐔𝐃𝐄.

Crane does not like keeping members and kingpins of organized crime as company. In fact, he has a deep resentment towards the likes of Falcone and other powerful figures in the criminal underworld. Their tendency to use status, physical power, and violence to intimidate and coerce others under their will reminds him of bullies and abusers of his past. He takes a special pleasure hearing rumors or witnessing their organizations encounter misfortune — even if he’s currently involved in their schemes.

Doctor Pamela Isley’s work is impressive. She’s incredibly intelligent, and Crane views her as one of few individuals competent enough to be trusted with his research. However, he’s wary of her alignment towards nature, her aloofness, and without much justification, perceives her as vain and sensitive — though these later two opinions stem from the fact that he finds her attractive and is fixating on a flaw to dissuade his interest.

On nights like these, it was difficult not to reach for his venom supply.

Bane was a mass of muscle and spite; His body bordered on metahuman from the effects of his past venom use, and the experiments done to prepare him for it. But, even so, he was a mortal man. Eyes drowned into one another’s, trying the best to read each other. In vain. There’s a miscommunication completely delayed by the lack of trust. 

Confessions and explanations were quickly given, even when Canary hadn’t asked for them. She let the plant whisperer talk nonetheless. “You didn’t kill him.” Dinah said afterwards, walking past Pamela slowly while making her way to the man having his face planted in the wooden desk. Two fingers on the jugular, enough to check life had run away from the body. 

It is not easy to do so.

The Amazon does not break so easily. Yet, her wrist is shattered from Ivy's prowess, green vines that had tugged and tugged until her bones could no longer withstand such pressure. A scream had coiled in Diana's throat at the invasion, but she had swallowed it down; she's known pain that makes this feel like child's play.

Nature's mistress is never to be underestimated, however. Even as she bleeds and breaks, Diana does not fault Ivy for her conviction. Of all Gotham's rogues, she believes in Ivy's abilities to overpower her the most. She holds her unbroken hand up in peace, if not surrender.
