Stumbled across this common lizard on my survey yesterday. Then I was up at 4am this morning to look for black grouse. Sadly I didn’t see any but I did see a whole herd of red deer in my scope. Also saw the Shyte Shifters truck on my way to my hotel (only in Scotland!) 🤣

About my writing project: It's a book titled "Between the Stars and the Haze" in the military sci-fi genre, with gray morality, dilemmas, a strong female lead, and choices between bad and worse.
The blurb goes like this:

I'm also a big fan of Star Trek (especially Voyager, Janeway is the best captain!!), love some characters from Attack on Titan (and I hate one specific little bastard from the final season, as well as the entire final season, for that matter), and I'm almost studying marine mammals (studying to be an ecologist, pro-cap).
