Hello! Since you're here, let's get acquainted!
You can call me Lisa. Falkenrath is my pseudonym, and I respond to that as well. I'm a writer, an ecologist-environmental student, an extrovert (ENTP). I live in Russia. English is not my native language, so I have to use an automatic translator from time to time (my English proficiency level is between A2 and B1).
About my writing project: It's a book titled "Between the Stars and the Haze" in the military sci-fi genre, with gray morality, dilemmas, a strong female lead, and choices between bad and worse.
The blurb goes like this:
"The year is 2347. Earth's population has reached a record thirty billion, and migration to a terraformed Mars no longer helps. After hundreds of failures, scientists have found the perfect planet, named Terraconia. But there's a problem: intelligent beings living in bunkers with a pathological propensity for violence, who greeted the Earthlings' ships with missiles.
Cadet Alice O'Dayle is one of those who will be sent to Terraconia, but first, she must complete her training under the guidance of the sarcastic Captain Hogarth…"
I'm also a big fan of Star Trek (especially Voyager, Janeway is the best captain!!), love some characters from Attack on Titan (and I hate one specific little bastard from the final season, as well as the entire final season, for that matter), and I'm almost studying marine mammals (studying to be an ecologist, pro-cap).
And a small disclaimer: I don't speak out about politics or any issues that could land me in jail in my country. Thanks for understanding
