I’m always watching Doctor who especially the 2005 era, bc it’s so peak and Eccleston’s doctor is heavily underrated! So whilst I was watching the “End of the world” episode. The Doctor does this cheeky smile at Jade and no word of a lie the image of Mike doing that flirty smile after Will says “Not possible” flashed into my brain. And this interaction between the Doctor and Jade was coming off as flirty banter. Look, I don’t know how else to describe it other than flirty banter, okay? I’m sorry.
But that scene between Mike and Will is soooo flirty, I will stand by it. That smile does not come off as platonic, like at all. How do non shippers see their scenes and think “Yeah that’s a platonic friendship right there”?? Ummm What?
Anyway this was such a random comparison I wanted to share. But here it is.
