The name of the Ouroboros, Easway's national symbol, in Ezerryen Easwegian is Hervicourei.
Hervi, meaning tail, comes from Proto-Indo-European *h₁ers- 'to flow.' and Ezerryen vi 'of.'
Courei, meaning biter, comes from Old Persian xwar 'to eat' and Ezerryen ei 'one who...'
Hi, I'm Emizerri, but most people on here just call me Emi. I'm active in different internet spaces and although I'm not on here all the time, this was my original social media site over a decade ago so I'm the most fond of its vibe.
I ran a political and creative project called Easway, based on the people and history of Svalbard and land surrounding Vardø, (located around Norway and Russia) and was its primary head from 2017 to 2023 before handing the reigns to others.
