More Eastmarch thoughts:
I’m now pretty wholly convinced Jorunn and Nurnhilde did have some sort of affair with each other. And this is more headcanon without much basis in canon, but Prince Irnskar is their son. Not once is a wife, lover, or mother mentioned by anyone in the royal family. The only woman present in Jorunn’s life was Nurnhilde, and a lot of the story framed their relationship as romantic and forbidden. The writing doesn’t have a lot of continuity in these characters’ ages, sadly, which is a flaw I’m honestly surprised to find in this game. My final conclusion remains the same though. Irnskar is Jorunn and Nurnhilde’s son. (And is most likely unaware of this.)
Finished the Eastmarch main quests! Wow! That was an emotional time!
