📜: I love this question, and I feel like the answer is ever-changing!
I've recently been playing through Cyberpunk 2077 (and Phantom Liberty) and having a BLAST - the incalculable variations and twists to almost every single gig are mind-meltingly cool, and well wrought. I'm sure I could vamp at length about every little thing that blows my mind, but I'll be concise here and say: IT IS SO GOOD and PLAY IT. More than once, if you're able.
I've been reading a lot of Octavia Butler recently, and though the Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents are eerily grim in their depictions of 2026 and beyond, I am just in awe of her wordsmithing, and concise prescience.
I also just re-read Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth (a childhood favorite), and can NEVER recommend that book highly enough. It is beautiful and brilliant and bananas in so many ways that just keep giving, and the original illustrations by Jules Feiffer are worth getting your hands on a physical copy.
In fact, I might go read some more now. This is going to be my last question of the day, and I thank everyone for the fabulous questions that have come through!
This has been Matt, signing off. ~📜
