In theory, it's because there wasn't really anything that had happened to him to activate it. But if that's not the case, was he protected somehow?

He was quite good friends with Frank for a while.

Now, I don't think anyone really knows how Frank works. There is a video about what Frank is, but I didn't really understand it too much. Frank is the (possibly universal/inter-dimensional) embodiment of negativity. When he and Lefty were friends, it's because Lefty was left rather depressed from his lack of friendships with everyone else in the pizzaplex.

Frank (and Francis) notably have not been seen since January after Puppet died. He left, telling Eclipse that he would be back when he was ready. aka when Eclipse was ready to grieve Puppet [I think anyway, don't come for me if I'm wrong].

Despite all the negativity that was going on, the literally force that would attract Frank to the dimension (and also deter Francis), he said that he would leave.

But what does this have to do with Lefty and the virus not affecting him? I don't really know, I kind of lost my train of thought a couple minutes ago and started yapping.

Perhaps Frank, being some weird cosmic force, meant that he left some protection for his lonely friend, Lefty, and that's why he wasn't affected.

Ruin: An amazing way to show that love isn't always a good thing I don't think Ruin was blind by rage or anything he just is a bad person he thinks his life has no meaning without rusty so is willing to do anything to save rusty, to save BOTH of their lives. (For the people comparing this to Nexus, I doubt Ruin is going to go insane or die but he may become distant from the others and/or become a more emotionally dull)

Eclipse: Big character growth sign from him he wakes up seeing Lefty on the ground and IMMEDIATELY tries to save him even asking Ruin for help I love seeing evidence of his growth in eaps, if this was towards the start of eaps Eclipse would not care and definitely would not try to help him Plus, when he tells Monty and Roxy the news, he just says it no remarks no "didn't think you cared about him" or anything like that

Monty: not much to say but want to make it known that he's treating it well, it's post-crisis right now so making sure everyone's ok is a priority

everyone's talking about how Monty killed him. not enough people are pointing out that ruin Intentionally Let Monty Out Of The Cylinder And Let Him Kill Lefty Because Lefty Didn't Want Ruin To Doom Everyone.
