A busy day for someone so small and so uninviting to the daily run a-bouts.

Doctor, doctor, book, book.

i suppose this has left it’s daily format and more so into a “when i feel like it” situation.

Today was lackluster.

I found myself with a sore throat last night, and woke up around 5 am just to call out of work because of it.

Losing money, but getting well needed care for myself.

S cuddled me until they had to leave for work, in which i whined because i wanted them to stay. such warmth.

Then i spent my day doing Absolutely. Nothing.

i slept, i had coffee, i slept more, i had water, i scrolled through social media, and i cried, but still nothing.

S will be on their way home soon with soup and care.

I will be on my way to ???

September, my beloved.

Bring forth the scent of smoke in chilled breezes and crunchy leaves.

Leave your muddy boots at the door,

Coffee already in the pot.

Ready for your stay?

when the morning comes,

i will no longer recognize

the skin i have grown in,

freckles placed one by one

from the sun herself.

the conversation grows thin

lunch from hours ago traveling up my throat.

black mass from nauseous to shaking,

Today, I have escaped the dogs.

I am finally able to stay my first night at my apartment since moving in.

Leaving the dogs was bittersweet.

But I am so so happy.
