As much as it hurts me to say it, the odds are practically zero.

The very fact that Vincent was able to worm himself into a betrothal with Whitley in the show is enough reason. If she was already matched up with someone else, he couldn’t have done this as easily as he did.

Awkward show only subplots aside, there are other reasons this is unlikely.

Wereworld, and in turn Wolf King, function on a fairly grounded historical basis. So, going by known standards of betrothal in the Middle Ages — and going with the current plot of the adaptation — it’s highly unlikely.

Agreements of betrothal, at the earliest in public historical records, would’ve be established at around 6 to 7 years of age. Then be fully acted upon when both individuals were of the marriage age typical of their class/economic status/gender etc.

But here in lies a big problem, Drew was believed to have died with the other Wolflords. His miraculous escape from death as a baby (~1 year old) was only known by Amelie and the Ferrans.

With Whitley’s being about the same age as Drew, at most that gives a 1 year window in which and discussions between Wergar and Bergan could’ve happened.

And here’s the funny part, had Leopold’s invasion not happened, the chances of Drew and Whitley’s having been betrothed would’ve increased exponentially.

Because Drew wasn’t the crown Prince. He wasn’t the heir. He had four older siblings. This combined with the fact that Whitley’s herself was second born means them getting matched up was far more likely.

But as the story is, Whitley likely wouldn’t be a candidate outside of extraordinary circumstances. Drew would more likely be put in a politically marriage with a house that could bolster him as king.

Ie Gretchen, as heiress of Hedgemoor and inheritor of the vast wealth of the Dalelands. Literally for the same reasons she was betrothed to Lucas she would be betrothed to Drew.

Heck. Lady Bethwyn, Amelie’s lady-in-waiting and the subject of Hector’s schoolboy crush — who we will likely meet in season 2 — has a better chance than Whitley to be matched with the crown Prince.

Helio is somehow both more impulsive and more careful? LOL Danny has such excellent foresight from all his years of suffering life that he chooses often whether or not to be impulsive or careful depending on the situation. I guess you could argue that that's not true impulsivity, but more that Danny actively chooses whether or not to act on whims or to not think things through before he acts, rather than it being spur-of-the-moment or outside of his control. Helio, though, is both more likely to be extra careful/focused but also to give into whims/temptations laid before him at the same time. Leave it to sunflower to be an absolute mess as usual.

Danny. He has had dancing careers in the past and plays various instruments including piano, and various ancient/archaic instruments :^) he also sings i mean what did you hear something Helio does play guitar though.

Really amazing that IDW’s My Little Pony: Generations took the G1 “villains get all the screentime” formula used it to tell the story of two girls (Grackle and Dyre, daughters of the G1 witches Reeka and Draggle) dealing with and eventually overcoming their mothers’ emotional abuse.
