Happy Dyngus day 2018!!!  For those who may not know what Dyngus day is, it's a traditional Polish holiday that celebrates the end of Lent the day after Easter. It's a whole day of partying and traditional celebration with loved ones and romantic partners and is basically the Polish equivalent to St. Patricks day. Some traditions include but are not limited to: Smacking people with pussy willow branches and dumping water on people too! Along with of course drinking and eating traditional Polish meals. You smack and soak people you're dating or hope to date one day. It sounds REALLY weird when I'm talking about it to non-Polish people and it's always funny because it's so normal to me. In my City, it's one of the biggest city-wide celebrations of the year!
