One of my career highlights was working with the outstanding production and marketing team of @dxvluxury @dxvcanada to produce this bathing pavilion featuring some my favourite pieces from #dxv. I wanted to blur the lines between inside and outside. A sculpture garden with the practicalities of a bathroom. A place to truly live with and spend time with art. A tranquil escape from the outside world. The artwork based on Modern and contemporary artists was created especially for this project. Hard to believe it was 3 years ago today when I saw this bathing pavilion I’d created for @dxvluxury for the first time in person. Months of planning, remote project meetings, sketches, plans, elevations and lists, so many lists. The team in Minneapolis executed this bathroom to my exacting standards and awe. Much of the art was conceived by me and created by @christophrjoyce here in Halifax on the other side of the continent then flown across the boarder.
