Dwellers Minecraft Bedrock Mod (Review)
Last in my recent series of Marketplace mod reviews, is the Dwellers mod!
This mod haunts your world with a variety of creepy characters. I won't be posting any other screenshots because I don't want to spoil what they look like. :)
They vary in behavior, some seem rather passive as long as you don't hit them or get too close, others will smash right though windows and wooden doors to get to you! They are unaffected by light so your best bed to stay safe indoors is to have iron door safety checkpoints.
In addition to the creatures, strange and spooky objects will appear around the world that you can use for decoration, and some of these are craft-able too! The mod also adds new reinforced concrete blocks so you can fortify your base.
The dwellers are very powerful and will be a big threat early on. I tried the mod on one world where I started with nothing, and they were always a menace that could kill me easily. But in another world, I had enchanted diamond armor and an enchanted netherite sword, which helped me a lot with fighting them.
If you can manage to kill any of the dwellers, you can get an item that lets you make a shrine, which you can then feed gemstones into to keep them at bay. It's a good idea to have something like a gold farm in your dwellers world for this reason!
Dwellers is one of my favorite horror mods I've played so far, with great spooky atmosphere and lots of creepy surprises. The fact they can even spawn inside your own base makes the whole world feel unsettling and unsafe. It has option settings for how often you want them to appear in your world, as well! It makes a great addition to any horror-themed or post apocalyptic worlds. Definitely recommend this one to any horror lovers. :) Link to the mod is below!
