I'm watching The Mark of the Rani to get acquainted with her and it's so funny. The Master is there completely separately and she's just like "ugh, I don't care about your homoerotic rivalry, leave me alone."
Still thinking about 73 Yards. One of the things I really appreciate about the episode is the way it tries to subtly predict where we'll be at technologically in 2046 and 2086. It's little touches like apps being things of the past and the van engine not having signal out on the headlands, as well as voice activated lights becoming the norm, especially somewhere where a person might struggle to reach a light switch by themselves. They're not outlandish predictions, just little touches that make it feel believably futuristic and also lived in.
The hotel room psychoanalysis gave me real BBC Sherlock 'every disguise is a self portrait' vibe, which at least made slightly more sense. Some people can't afford fancy hotel rooms, Steven.
Honestly it's a travesty that they latched onto the genius behind Dugga Doo before they got Rylan, but still decided to rescue Rylan first

Doctor Who: 73 Yards/The Legend of Ruby Sunday
Just realised we have both Belinda Chandra and The Rani this series. Might we possibly get Rani Chandra? Is she the secret love child of the two aforementioned? Would that be quite silly? Perhaps!
I didn't catch it the first time, but the Rani says there's a trap primed, presumably for the Doctor, and what else can that be but Rogue's little 'tables don't do that' cameo? Was his message part of the wish?
