well, we already have a partial answer for that!!
from the bio page, i believe they had ample activites and classes to keep the prisoners busy. besides that, i do strongly believe that jhin started planning his escape by talking to kusho, among others of the council, so they would slowly deteriorate mentally and have him released when the peace became too much (from segments of the zed comic).
My doctor: if drawing helps distract you from your anxiety, you really should do it more, even if you don’t have much drawing experience.

elephant, nother ladybug. lotsa shading, before getting up the gumption to draw (cause i’m terrified o being dissapointed in what i create) i’d always just shade, shade constantly shade the margins of my paper to soothe myself, but it got boring.
none of these are all that impressive, but they are cute and made me happy and that in a way is impressive, at least to me. that post about how art is supposed to make you happy, not be perfect really spoke to me. well, that, and my doc, who upon asking me about what made me happy in high school as she tried to help me find things to help with anxiety asked me to start doing a doodle a day. i...didn’t. for months. better late than never!
