❝ zelda is more important right now. ❞
For being the supposedly more mature elder of the two of them, Jesse sported quite the pout, lips pursed and brows furrowed, his gaze flitted between the screen and the young woman before him. She didn’t even bother to look at him, let alone take a seconds pause from the game itself.
It wasn’t as if he didn’t understand video games and simply disregarded her hobby entirely. One doesn’t exactly grow up with technology in everything and not be accustomed to it. Hell, even Jesse’d played his fair share up until he was half as young as he was now. Even nowadays he’d sit and watch from time to time, when Hana garnered a enough of a crowd that he could use it as an excuse to peek in.
But, well, he figured his lil favour he needed done was a bit more deserving of attention at the moment.
“Look, wont even take ya longer than a minute or two,” Jesse started, eyes drifting to watch deft hands work at controller buttons, movement catching attention rather than any real curiosity in her actions. He blinked, caught himself, crossed his arms. No response, so he continued, “Can’t butter ‘im up like you do, ‘n he’s right ticked at me at the moment. Just need ya to saunter up ‘n spout som’n along the lines of, ‘Hey Jack, need me some of that coffee brand good ol’ Jesse likes, the kind we’re outta and you wont get because it’s ‘expensive’ and ‘unnecessary spending’. It’s my favourite too.’ and then you can be on yer way and back to yer game. I’ll owe ya one too, fer good measure.”
