Haven't posted in a while, had a setback with my wrist (it seems to be an elbow problem rather then a wrist problem though), and despite this I have entered an illustration competition which took up most of my time. Working on my website now, feeling inspired and I have some new goals and dreams 🌅. Had my first vaccination today aswell (sooner because of asthma), so hopefully life can feel less 'in limbo' soon 😄 Anyway I've been going through my work for my website, things I haven't updated in a while now and came across these sketches, which I totally forgot about. Sketches of a mascotte for a music product. When I look back at them now they really look very moving to me, there's a flow in there which I like... What do you guys think?

I wanted to try and draw our siberian cat Sofia with a cartoony approach, I'm quite satisfied with the result :D I'm not sure Sofia is though haha. What do you think? 

~ Angel of hope ~ I still wanted to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year, I wish it will be a year full of hope, new oppurtunities and chances. I've been away for a while, since I've been dealing with a burn-out since the summer of last year. I'm doing better everyday and I am slowly starting to work again. This is the first personal illustration I've really finished since my burn-out. I'm trying to find more joy in my work and I have a better understanding of where my energy gets lost and how to get it back. I sometimes find it hard to find joy in the current world situation, but I suppose everyone feels this. Just trying to make the best of it with what we have, I guess. I'm going to be more active this year and share more drawings with you, since I'm dedicated to find more me-time and guard the time I spend on my personal works. How has the last year treated you?
