Completed: 1/43 Rally Diorama - McRae & Grist - Ford Focus - Rallye De Portugal - 1999: Thought I'd show you this piece alongside the reference I was working from. You can see how strangely clean the focus is... I've come to the conclusion it's the very start of the stage but you'll notice I've tried to capture what Colin might have been about to do with the wheel as you can see my interpretation is entering a powerslide but that's just because I know that causes motion in the imagery... 1/43 Rally Diorama - McRae & Grist - Ford Focus - Rallye De Portugal - 1999: So on the side of the piece I've been putting together I'm also doing some more rally pieces, I thoroughly enjoy doing these. So I thought I'd finally do an art Vs artist post... There I am... In the middle there... I do actually work with the big light on incase you think I'm mad... But this year has been different to last year... I've taken my time with pieces and focussed on the quality of what I've been making for people... I've learnt that it's not about how much you produce as an artist but more what you produce... So far this year has been quality in terms of my satisfaction... I think I've definitely established that I do two things: 1. Capture people's houses in miniature 2.
