Sugarcane Sweetsop || For @dustofsims Hue BC.

Sugarcane was the third born of a set of nearly identical quadruplets. Don’t get her wrong, she loves Sorrel, Sycamore, and Sage very much - but being part of a set has never really sat right with her. You never get a moment to yourself, and you’re never the center of attention. Sugarcane has never had a birthday party that was just for her. It was always for them. The Quads. As if they were some single entity. And that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Aside from their looks, the only thing the Sweetsop Quads have in common is their love of plants, and even that takes different forms. Sorrel is a stressed perfectionist who sees that his hedge sculptures are perfectly tended, Sycamore is a flighty grump with a weakness for floral arrangements, and Sage is a starry eyed dreamer who thinks weeds are beautiful and wears dandelions in her hair. Sugarcane can tell you the scientific and common names of any plant, the best conditions to grow it in, the colors it can be, all of it’s practical uses, and what it symbolizes.

She’s always been the most business savvy of her siblings, and was known for running the most profitable lemonade stands and bake sales in the neighborhood as a child. Her pleasant sense of humor has always helped her to cinch any deal. If you make a person laugh, you’ve won them over.

Sugarcane has also always been one of the more temperamental siblings - though perhaps not quite as temperamental as Sycamore. She admits that she may have a bit of a temper, but she argues that it’s not necessarily a bad thing. She’s just very passionate, about her believes and her interests and her family and her goals, and she doesn’t hesitate to speak up about them.
