One of the most fun things I've discovered about creating a Transformers OC is figuring out how they would fit into different continuities:
I know the only female Autobots in G1 (before Arcee's introduction) were Elita One's squadron who stayed behind on Cybertron to continue the fight. But I'd have Whiplash and Dustoff be part of Optimus Prime's team that arrived on Earth, most likely appearing in Season 2 (like all the other new Autobots introduced out of nowhere LOL). Maybe have them go to a lesbian bar. They'd also survive the movie because I don't do Bury Your Gays here.
Been a loooong time since I've watched Animated, but I feel Whiplash and Dustoff would both be members of the Elite Guard who come to Earth with Ultra Magnus, Jazz and Sentinel Prime. Dustoff is one of the very few flying Autobots but rarely uses her vehicle mode for combat. As a result, Sentinel tends to make disparaging comments about her 'cowardice' which she rolls her eyes at and Whiplash butts heads with him over. Sari learns they're a couple and recommends to Whiplash some of the most popular romantic spots for a date during their stay in Detroit... which keeps getting interrupted by Decepticons. Whiplash: (pummelling Blitzwing so hard, his face spins around) Let... me... have... a... quiet... Earth... date... with... my... sparkmate!
The two of them would join Team Prime midway through Season 1 of Prime, with Dustoff becoming an understudy for Ratchet and getting hand-to-hand combat lessons from Whiplash, who learns to be less reckless in turn. Dustoff stays behind with Fowler when Autobot Base comes under attack, getting captured but managing to escape with Wheeljack. They split up so she can find Whiplash, both removing the tracking devices Starscream planted on them. To avoid detection, Dustoff becomes a Triple Changer by scanning a Humvee and instead finds Ratchet, talking him into joining Raf and Bumblebee at the Harbinger while Whiplash meets up with Bulkhead, Miko and Wheeljack.
In One, Whiplash is one of the miners while Dustoff works in Iacon as a medic. Relationships between cogless and transforming bots are legal but still frowned upon by some, not that that stops them from meeting up regularly for a drink at Maccadam’s Old Oil House. Dustoff later gets Whiplash and other bots to safety when they get injured by falling rubble from Megatron's destruction of Iacon, leading to her eventual position as the Autobot medevac officer.
When I have you wounded - Major Kelly
Kelly was killed in action on July 1, 1964, when, after being warned out of a "Hot"landing zone, he replied, "When I have your wounded." A bullet entered through an open cargo door and pierced his heart. Major Kelly became the 149th American to die in Vietnam. The following day, an officer tossed the bullet on his desk in front of Kelly's successor, Captain Patrick Henry Brady and asked if they were going to stop flying so aggressively. Brady picked up the bullet and replied, "we are going to keep flying exactly the way Kelly taught us to fly, without hesitation, anytime, anywhere."[1]
I am proud to have flown with many brave crew members as a MEDEVAC Pilot with this same mind set.
Left skid low
Also managed to draw Whiplash and Dustoff on the train to TFNation.
Back-to-back sparkmates!
1 July 1964. U.S. Army Major Charles L. Kelly Sr. Commanding Officer of the 57th Medical Detachment lifts off from Vinh Long, South Vietnam in his unarmed Bell UH-1B utility helicopter on what will be his final mission. This will also be the birth of a legend and legacy which lasts to this very day. Kelly listens to the anarchy over his radio as an American advisor is trapped with Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) soldiers in the midst of an intense battle. The American advisor radios for extraction of wounded ARVN soldiers from the battlefield. Day or Night, Sun or Rain; Kelly and the men of the 57th are dedicated to their mission. Their callsign; DUSTOFF. Armed with nothing but a red cross and sheer determination, these pilots fly into the thick of a fight to rush a critically injured patient to the safety of an urgent care facility. As Kelly approaches the landing zone, the enemy fire intensifies. The American advisor on the ground screams into his radio for Kelly to leave. Kelly calmly replies, "When I Have Your Wounded. I will leave When I Have Your Wounded."
As he set the aircraft into a low hover intense automatic weapons fire strike the aircraft. A round passes through the open cabin door and strikes Kelly beneath his right arm, piercing his heart. His final words are "My God!" He twisted, the aircraft pitched upward, rolled and crashed. The rotor system striking the ground. The following day, the Commander of the 13th Aviation Battalion entered the office of Captain Patrick H. Brady, Kelly's protege. He threw the bullet that killed Kelly onto his desk, and asked him if that was enough to get them to stop flying recklessly. Brady picked up the bullet and responded, " The 57th would continue flying just as Kelly had taught them. Without hesitation, anytime, anywhere." Brady kept his promise. On his second tour to Vietnam, Brady was awarded the Medal of Honor for saving lives as a DUSTOFF pilot. 1 July 1964. Major Charles L. Kelly Sr. passed into history, and the legend and legacy of DUSTOFF was born.
DUSTOFF FOREVER!

After reading your oc DUSTOFF's description I've come to the conclusion that you are the real kojima
This is one of the greatest compliments a wannabe storyteller could receive
Also here is a section of the WIP Dustoff Doodle Sheet. My little douchebag
more solidifying that 621. he/they
aloof, distant, bit of an asshole when he's not just blank and staring into space. probably an adrenaline junkie who pulls dangerous stunts just to feel something. prefers speedy mech builds. shell of a man
