umber’s smile is soft and gentle, reassuring as he pushes the chair next to him out with one foot for her. he knew who she was, of course; even before they had formally met, and he’d pretended to not recognize her. but pyrrha nikos was the kind of woman you couldn’t forget- and one you wouldn’t want to, anyway.
“sure. i’m on my own today- my team seems to have wandered of while i was napping,” he chuckled heartily, loading up another forkful of food and shoving it into his mouth. “maybe i mother hen them too much.”
