I love how big brained you are with your names and i love the original personalities you give to the names. How about these two siblings; Duskhaze and Mossdawn?
Tysm!!!
Duskhaze - A skilful and proud cat. Duskhaze prides themseleves on being the best warrior they can be and have trained hard all their lives to obtain a high skill level, but they aren’t obnoxious about it, they, they don’t see the point in showing off, but they will happily provide demonstrations for anyone who asks. Duskhaze is a sticker for abiding by the warrior code, and will always follow it, although they won’t rat anyone out who minorly breaks the code, especially Mossdawn, normally they will just give a cat a stern glare, but because Mossdawn is special they get treated to a lecture about the rule they broke; Duskhaze enjoys every second of this playful torture while Mossdawn pretends to be in great pain over every word Duskhaze speaks, 15/10
Mossdawn - A relaxed and intelligent cat. Mossdawn tends to do whatever they feel like at the time whenever they don’t have duties to perform, even inserting themselves into someone else’s patrol so they can have a chat to someone in it, usually Duskhaze, Mossdawn knows that this mildly annoys Duskhaze so they will make sure to do it as often as possible. Mossdawn might look reasonably relaxed when something new happens, but they will always analyse what is going on, quickly drawing accurate conclusions, and often uses these to aid their clanmates, Mossdawn’s quick thinking has certainly helped save a few pelts, even though they will act like it’s no big deal afterwards, 15/10
England I feel like in particular is terrible with that. I watch a vet show where the guy does these crazy amazing surgeries and is a lot of animals last chance saloons and 90 percent of the injured cats that come in are the result of terrible accidents and in their “full recovery” montage the owners are shown with the cat OUTSIDE AGAIN like “yup whiskers is back to their old tricks!” and it’s like....your cat almost died??? You spent well over six grand most likely and you’re letting them out??
Right??? I follow Victoria Stilwell on Facebook and she posted an article about how outdoor cats might possibly be maybe problematic and people absolutely lost their minds. It’s always weird when I see outdoor cat posts and people will reply that it only applies to the US and that is so bizarre to me because they have cars in Europe?? And raptors, and dogs, and foxes, and toxins, and diseases so idk why it’s perceived as just a US problem. It honestly boggles my mind that we still have to have this discussion because why does it seem ok to release a domestic animal into a non native environment? Even if we ignore all the dangers, that’s still an invasive predator in an ecosystem they don’t belong in.
The only other thing I’d say about kitten adoption in particular is sometimes you can’t judge their cuddliness by how they act at the shelter. I adopted a kitten as a companion for my other cat six months ago and at the shelter she was very confident but wanted to be on my lap more as a higher perch than a cuddle point. She had her siblings in the room and she was more apt to hang with them than me. But when I brought her home she quickly became much more people oriented w/o her siblings
Oh yeah, it’s notoriously difficult to judge cuddliness in a shelter environment. Your best bet there is to talk to the staff and see what they think. We interact with these cats daily and generally have some idea of what they’re like in a more typical setting.
Like one of my kittens is this tiny little hiss pot of a thing. She hisses at everyone. But once she knows you, she is the cuddliest tiny thing. Almost every picture I have of her is her yelling because I’m not petting her right then immediately.
It’s also worth noting that it’s really difficult to guess how a kitten will grow up and what their adult personality will be. One of the reasons I adopted Yardstick was because he was a sweet little lapcat. But, as an adult, he’ll take a three second nap in my lap and then be off.

How is Magnus' going to be the voidfish tho? Because we already know they save that one voidfish so him having a shitty roll and failing his big quest somehow would create quite the paradox....unless it's similar to Merle's where it's just more character development based and his actions don't necessarily change the overall story?
its absolutely going to be more like merle’s, come on. griffin aint retconning confirmed shit. griffin didnt have to let merle get that much shit outta john but he did bc it was important for the story. same goes for what the others will do
i had to put my 17 year old cat down this past summer who was a gift from my father that had passed away 5 years ago, so there was a lot wrapped up in that grumpy, crazy, calico. she had kidney failure and was on medication for a while, got worse, went back to the vet, got better on different meds for over 6 mons, then got a lot worse. the turning point for me was looking at her, not eating, skin and bones, and asking, 'would i want to live like that?' i took her to the vet by myself
since i was her main caretaker all those years, and she had bonded to me the most, so i wanted to see her out on my own. my vet said she was gone before they even finished the injection, and her telling me that she had been ready to go really helped ease my worries that i had done it too soon. as i client i just wanted to say how important her telling me that was, and how much i appreciate veterinarians being advocates for the animals, and telling us what they cant.
I’m sorry for your loss, but glad the experience was as painless as it could have been.
While our primary purpose is to advocate for our patients, it’s important to remember to help their humans too. I hope you’re doing ok.

i consider it just as bad as murder bc like. i dont think any of those creatures/beings/people would want to be absorbed into a dark miasma w/ no free will and constantly used as mindless soldiers when brought to a new plane.
thats true! i suppose i meant it more in the sense that those people might still be able to be saved and brought back. i’m not trying to minimize the seriousness and tragedy of what he’s doing
