Pomni must come to terms with the fact that the new copy of herself that lived several more years free from the digital realm, is now dating the AI that tormented her during her first few months in the circus.

the first (and maybe only) person to notice is zooble, who saw how quiet and distant caine was being despite the new arrival. I like to think that zooble and caine became closer once he was restored and started actually listening to everyone, and that zooble essentially becomes caines first friend and helps the others open up to him too.

Here's my drawing of Jacki for the duplicate au, where Leeroy put on the headset again a few years later and made a new digital copy. She's a lot nicer and happier than Jax was, but she does still have a tendency to pull pranks and cause mischief, just much less antagonizing to everyone else.
