Hello and welcome to my blog. The Iberian clans is my very self-indulgent warriors project focused on my 5 fanclans: Duneclan, Seaclan, Mountainclan, Brookclan, and Clayclan. I’ve been working on it for over 10 years now but only recently found it in me to start posting about it again. I love worldbuilding and will mostly focus on it, I take a fantasy approach while still keeping some ‘realistic’ aspects to it, like genetics.

“No.” Beetlestar snapped into the conversation. “We’re taking everyone. The tunnels might flood, drowning both the queens and the kits.” Her tail wrapped furiously around herself before heaving a sigh. “Like Mossfur said, nothing is gonna be out in this storm. It’s too dangerous for prey and predators alike.”
Beetlestar is very hardheaded and headstrong. She takes no dung from anyone and has a fair sense of justice. However she is known to push other people away with her harsh attitude. She knows how to be assertive. These qualities are the reasons why her father chose her to be his deputy, not because they were related. Even then, because of her age, she can be very sarcastic and kind of childish.

Nursery Warrior of Duneclan

Kin: Mate of Tuistar.
Personality:
Dotterelclaw is a very laid back, kind tom and while he easily towers over almost any other cat, he chose to become a Nursery Guard instead of a regular warrior. He adores all the kits, and while not having his own is a little bittersweet, he enjoys getting to help raise and protect the next generation, even if there hasn’t been very much to protect.
He was found by the clan as a young kit, and while he managed to avoid being captured by the twolegs later on, his closest friend Tuipaw was caught. He became fiercely protective of her after she returned, and it wasn’t long before the two became mates.
While he’s certainly not as young as he used to be, he refuses to ever think of retiring before Tuistar does, but unlike her, he feels his legacy will be left behind in the kits he’s helped raise.

Personality: Tuistar is a rather anxious cat, even as leader. She relies heavily on her mate and deputy to help her. She used to be far more relaxed, until she was caught up in The Great Loss as a young apprentice.
The event rattled her badly, and it took a lot of hard work to get her warrior name. But the previous leader saw potential in her and made her deputy at a surprisingly young age. While her anxiety has never truly left her, she works hard to take care of her clan.
Her worst source of anxiety is the damage done during her capture; like all the other cats, she was spayed, and is now devastated that she and her mate can’t have kits of their own. Now that she’s getting near the age most warriors would begin to think of retiring, she’s concerned about her legacy, and what she’ll leave behind in the clan.
