Adjusting to being thrown into the modern world was confusing, and hard for Farouk to navigate. He'd spent the last few days exploring this new world, unfamiliar and foreign. Where was the heat? The desert and sand? This wasn't the home he'd remembered, and yet, he was adaptable enough to try and figure out how to make the best of it.
Walking down along the bay, the water having drawn his curiosity, the sound of desperate splashing caught his ear. Someone sounded like they were drowning, that wasn't good.
There was no time to think about it, no time to call for help. They needed help and they needed it now. The man didn't hesitate, bolting to the edge of the docks and searching for where the person was, sharp eyes spotting movement nearby.
Within seconds, Farouk was diving into the freezing waves, moving to pull this drowning person up towards the nearby shore and only stopping once he'd managed to drag them up onto the sand, panting heavily in the process. He hadn't even looked to see who it was or how they'd gotten there, keeping a sharp lookout for any signs of other trouble once he knew they were out of the water far enough to catch their breath.
