I haven't really put much thought into Galaxia (heroic type, very serious, butch, a little haughty?) (left) but Oblivio (right) is my baby girl lmao

they were both military I think, but war is weird in the mirror world, everyone just shatters and comes back eventually, and there is very, very little that can bypass that

Obi spent many years attempting to hone such an ability and it utterly consumed her. she experimented on probably hundreds of people, leaving some of them in horrible half-shattered states as she got closer to the solution. even she became permanently cracked / half-shattered from the experimenting she did on herself. the journey also left her mind in a pretty unwell state, but, that wasn't in great shape to begin with

basically as soon as she succeeded, she started killing people (eager to try out her "new toy" then excited by how it felt and couldn't stop), became infamous for it, and then eventually got turned into / put into a sword for it I guess. she was probably also known as Galaxia before that point, and took on the new name as a representation of the power she uncovered

i finally coloured his eyes! i opted not to change the shape since i just wanted to take it easy and use the old eyes as a guide. there's still the other face plate which i may attempt to paint wider eyes onto someday

i repainted the gem and cleaned up the edges. the handle around the gem was very messy and it looks much cleaner now. i don't have a steady hand for painting, but, like the emblem, i think the gem looks pretty good at a distance
