𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | @thefrenchieuk down at Southbank have got me feeling all bougie with their Duck Confit burger. It’s duck confit in a brioche bun with crispy duck skin scratchings, a chutney truffle mayo, and rocket, and then a choice of cheese. I went for blue cheese, which comes with an extra topping of truffle honey. My GOD it’s beautiful. That truffle honey brings a layer of sweetness that cuts through the truffle mayo and duck, and also balances out the blue cheese. 
You can also add duck bacon, but there was none available this day.
I’ve walked past The Frenchie at Southbank many times, and now I’ve tried it I think it would be hard to walk past and not grab one for the road. The duck fat chips with truffle mayo also looked AMAZING, but I didn’t have room for them, so I guess it gives me an excuse to go back.
