* Ibanez Roadstar (nagy kedvenc) basszusgitár kapott Dimarzio hangszedőket és dual sound modot (push-pull potival váltható soros/párhuzamos kapcsolás mindkét hangszedőnél). Érdekes, hogy a JB pickup is humbucker, de a két tekercs nem egymás felett, hanem egymás mellett van, vagyis az egyik csak az E-A, a másik a D-G húrokat veszi. A külső elektromágneses hullámokat viszont mindkettő ugyanúgy veszi, csak ellentétes előjellel, így lehet zajkioltó. Került még a gödörbe árnyékolás, mert a pickupokból kijövő kábelek teljesen árnyékolatlanok voltak, ezt pedig nem oldja meg a humbucker, de így már nincs zúgás. * Ibanez Roadstar (one of my favourite) bass guitar got Dimarzio pickups with dual sound mod (two push-pull pot switches between series/parallel wiring). Quite interesting, that the JB pickup is also humbucker, but the coils are not atop one another, they are side by side. One is for the E-A string, and the other for D-G. The two senses the incoming electromagnetic noisewaves coming from outside the same way, but in the opposite phase, so it cancels the hum. The bass got copper foil shielding in the cavity, because the pickups have unshielded cables, and the humbucking pickup technology can´t solve this.
