First time making OCs, I wanted to give Alma a more green leaning skin color after reading that the fae have both green and blue skin tones.

Elena is a quiet and reserved person who keeps her distance. Exhausted from keeping Alma from taking over.

Her mother took her to meet family to introduce her as the newborn in the family. Within a few days, Alma took over. Due to Elena's strong will at a young age, Alma wasn't able to hurt anyone.

Luckily for Elena, her family has a tradition to give each child a set of jewelry mix with gold, silver, bronze, and iron. This is due to the spiritual belief passed down by ancestor who had a bad encounter with the supernatural. Thanks to the jewelry, Alma is too weak to even move when they have the opportunity to take over when Elena is exhausted.

Even though the jewelry helps, Elena still takes charge whenever possible as a safety precaution. Especially since an unknown fae once tried to trick a kid into helping Alma take over by painting Elena as a horrible person trapping them. The fae told them, once Elena was asleep, to take the jewelry off.

She soon woke up, and took over when she heard Alma's thoughts as they harmed the kid and family. Horrified and angry, she immediately stopped them. She learned to be more cautious and caused her to be more isolated. Alma was too distracted scaring them that they didn't cause any lethal injuries. The kid was a partner for a school project.

She has always been a loner. She feels that she can't behave and act as childish as the other kids her age when she was young. She also feels too exhausted to keep up friendships. She was a bit happy thinking the kid still wanted to be friends with her despite her low energy. Only to feel betrayed that it was a trick. She accepted this as her reality, and decided she should probably not ever get her hopes up like that again. She is happy she at least has her family.

She has had an interests in spiritual and cultural practices. Which leads her to studying it.

Her family are close-knit and always try to get her involved. They view her as the "emo" of the family trying to be cool and aloof. She oblivious to this. She still lives with her family due to her family being a multi-genational household and sees it as the norm.

She finds Alma's undressing habit annoying. She has tried sharing human culture but Alma finds it more pathetic compared to fae culture. She asks Alma about the fae and Alma always is happy to share about it when given the chance.

Alma's family is well known for their magic. Alma loved it so much and couldn't wait to learn more about it. Sadly, their situation has gotten them disconnected from it. They were seen as having great potential. Because of this, they have slightly more knowledge than the other kids around her about magic. They hate human magic for being so weak.

Alma chose this name because they loved learning about other species and finds ghosts interesting.

Alma loves scaring humans. As time went one, they manage to gain some resistance to the iron, but only enough to barely move. They used this to scare Elena's family and getting knives to scare them awake. They don't have enough strength to actually stab them. Sometimes they stands over family members and wake them by pretending they were about the choke them. She loves lurking and scaring kids with their appearance.

Most of the time if they don't have enough will to at least scare people, they lay on the ground feeling sluggish.

They tend to take off most of Elena's clothes because they feel it as restrictive. When Elena was a kid, they would have stolen the adults shirts that fit like oversized dresses due to their flowiness. This was after an adult sat down and told them that there are weird adults that might try to be weird and hurt Elena if they left her vulnerable like that.

Elena's family did their best to try to treat Alma like a family friend that just happened to be a troublemaker. They gave up after a while looking for a way to give Elena full control after finding out it that most solutions was going to kill Alma and possibly kill Elena too.

They bring food and snacks to Alma and hand feed them because of how weak they are.

Alma's dislike of humans has significantly weakened because of Elena's family. And they find it annoying when humans get the fae wrong in media.

Both her and Alma don't get along and constantly clash. The only times they get along are when they both don't like someone or when Elena is in danger. Both like avoiding trouble whenever possible.

Both have heard whispers about someone in the same situation as them. But both having a dislike and seeing each other's species as trouble, don't care enough to go and see them.
