It’s not a dumb question! Since I started storytelling, I realized that just gameplay isn’t enough for me, but doing only storytelling ends up burning me out because I tend to push myself too hard. So I do a mix of both!

But seriously, my only recommendation is the same as always: Come up with a story and follow it! The messy challenge has pretty flexible rules, which is why I decided to do it, plus it's short. Only 6 generations.
