you don't like her eyes? her big eyes? her big ol' baby blues? baby's blues??? @havochellion
(regarding the replies under the perfect lady post:) Hush is definitely also associated with puppets, isn't she? Her main "toy" is a sock that she uses as a sock puppet... There's also the word "puppet" to mean "someone being controlled", and her father was involved in some shady underworld business, but maybe he was only a pawn, a "puppet". I don't think there's a lot of actual connection between Hush and the Kins but I think she'd have fun at the Carnevale, maybe she can learn some puppet tricks
Hush is deeply conected to the nowherian counterpart of her parents, as you mention, the sock puppet "punchy" if that was the name of her mounstrous like hand. Is obious that Mr. Kay wasn't the leader of the stuff he was doing, as the Kin dosen't seem to control anything in the carnivale, still not that deep how the Kay's life.
Something that i was kinda bother by the direction of LN with the residents was that idea that is semi implied of the residents being a conterpart of real people in the counties, makes characters like Roger The Janitor and The Twin Chefs, The Lady or even The Thin Man less interesting and even boring, personally and with the stuff that it seem to be the inspo of LN, The Never Ending History this parallels are just that, creations of the nowhere trying to fit information of the other plane to put it into itself, like the backrooms but in a more fantastic way where the existencial horror is more subtle.
I kinda like to think that if the residents start to being more distant of their human or real conterparts and start developing a real personlity maybe stuff with the visitors could change, maybe Hush would learn cool puppet tricks with all the Carnvale Staff who knows, that would be so sweet 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Reflecting on Otto some and... I feel like the most concerning (and dangerous) part about that man is how unequivocally meek he appears to be. He projects this gentleness that in the long run turns into cowardice. Infamy, even. He cannot genuinely stand for anything unless it benefits him directly.
Hush really just is kin before transitioning LMAOO
I have a lot of thoughts on the new issue but not everyone has access to it because it only released physically today. I might write something up later
