Blue had to yet admit he wasn’t as good as he wished when it came to teleporting neither he asked to Papyrus for advice without raising doubts. It clearly didn’t help his mind was a mess nowdays due new information about the existence of verses and timelines, too much for him to handle at once. At the very least, he would have liked someone to explain things one by one but that wasn’t his case in particular. It was just a flat truth without further explication to which his mind was blown away as he tried to constantly figure those answers by himself.

But returning to his failed attempt of teleporting. . .

It was surprising for him to end somewhere unexpectedly. It wasn’t the underground in any shape, size or color. There was a clear sky, people walking by. Emphasis in people, not monsters like he was used to.

  Lemon tilted his head slightly, lips pressed. How did one answer this properly without explaining how the Multiverse worked first?

     Glancing at the skeleton again, Lemon’s eyes fell on his jacket, his shorts, the scar on his socket… He looked different from Sans. There was no reason why it couldn’t be the same with Grillby.

     “Maybe?” The response came out more as a question, as if he was curious himself– which wouldn’t be far from the truth. “Probably, I guess.” He shrugged lightly, deciding he had to settle on an answer. “You’ll be the judge.”

Not long after Pepper sent that text, Isis arrived at their doorstep. Her knock was soft, and even the small movement of such a simple thing caused her pain.
