The Dryervir

The Dryervir, A Faction Of Crafty Humans

The true ancestors of hunters and tamers, the Dryervir are a hardy people that have implemented the struggles of survival into their daily way of living. They believe strength lives in wisdom and age but also in the trial of combat and surviving the night, and are often described as the most provoking of the three factions, all in the name of continuing their bloodline and ensuring the continued existence of their livelihood. There is living energy in everything, and a true Dryervir’s goal is to harness and utilize it.

Ages ago they’ve decided to settle in a harsh tundra, where they’ve mastered the art of fishing, taming, hunting and brewing to keep warm. They do not worship a god, believing themselves the own masters of their destiny. Everything created in the world is tool for them to use and abuse, be it magic or technology.

There was a time where Dryervir weren’t the leading faction of Triquetra, but as they grew in numbers so did their need and want for territory, resulting in the Humans forging reasons for their conquests. Werewolves needed a guiding hand, and the humans were eager to leash them into their serving roles. Vampires were villainized due to their need for blood, and vast lands, leading to the Abharheim’s near extinction.

Larger groups of people often live together, mostly to conserver energy, and meals are often taken together with the whole community. The covering of snow has never stopped them from living life to the fullest, or even from sharing their comforts with others. A wolf makes a home after all.

The Old Man

Despite popular belief, the old man is not a part of the Caretakers. He is simply a man from Dryervir who seems to have taken more of a liking to hanging around Spawn than his own home. Nobody quite knows why, or what he does all day. He is however the first all newcomers meet, and no matter their race he offers a friendly face.

Queen Oriana

As her full name implies, Queen Oriana Dilara the III of Dryervir is the current leader of humans and werewolves. Despite her family's long history of battle and war, her citizens can see that she tries to do better than her predecessors, treating both kinds of her citizens with the utmost respect. Her efforts are entirely appreciated by the people of Dryervir. She's just the perfect queen.
