#dry eye

i have the greatest problem with touching or putting things near or on my eye but since they tend to dry out alot i gotta put drops in more often than not. and unsurpriisingly it takes a while for me to do it

but arthur wouldnt care. arthur would take his time with me. he'd gently take the bottle out of my hands and guide me to lie on his lap so he could see my face nice and clear. and when i inevitably flinch away when he readies to administer the saline, he waits for me to settle.

My post about my ankle adventure has done surprising numbers - a lot of people have this issue, it seems - and I'm honestly very gratified that it helped so many people! Said ankle is still much improved, not 100% - had a bad day with it yesterday - but overall way better.

So now I have another tip!

For a few years now I've struggled with dry eye. My eyes would get easily irritated, scratchy, blurry, etc. This is bad since most of my life is spent on screens. I've done drops, heated masks, all were somewhat helpful but it was still an issue. Then a work colleague told me to start taking fish oil.

Friends, it's been a revelation. Since I started taking them, I haven't had a major scratchy/irritated eye incident. I wouldn't say it's TOTALLY eliminated it, but it's 90% better.

My prescribed spa time:

15 minutes of moist heat mask daily to help with my dry eyes

Since a little while after the dry eye started, Tristan has been squinting into the camera. I assume it's focusing/range-finding lasers that bother him a little more than he's used to.

I often deal with "don't want to look at camera" by asking dogs to look at me, instead. But Tristan is too much of a pro to look away. He knows what this is about, and he is GOING to do his job, thankyouverymuch. I am wondering if there's some way to relieve the lights in his eyes while still getting pictures in focus.
