The protags girls taking care of you when you're sick

A/n:yay more protags girl stuff. I am actually glad people are requesting for them together as i quite like putting them together

Kaede akamatsu (drv3)

Kaede absolutely loves taking care of you and while, of course, she doesn't want you to get sick whenever you do it's not that bad of an experience because kaede is really good at making you feel better. The moment she hears you're sick she drops everything and goes to your house to take care of you until you feel better

She makes you homemade food and drinks that can help you like juices or soup and goes to take the medicine you need and will help you take it if you have troubles, she won't accept you not taking them. She'd like to shower you in kisses to cheer you up but she knows it's unhealthy so she'll just compliment you

If you're having trouble sleeping then she'll sing you a lullaby or even better play you a relaxing song on her piano (unfortunately she'll have to record it and show it to you as she can't really bring her piano to your house) to be honest she'll do it even if you're sleeping fine she just wants to use her piano skills to help you in some way

"Y/n with a fever like that you must have trouble sleeping right? How about I play you something on the piano, I've been told that some songs can be quite relaxing"

Sora (sdra2)

While sora definitely isn't as good as kaede at taking care of you she still wants to try her best. For example she will ask her friends for advice on how to help you or to copy the notes they took for school ti give them to you

She is very strict about you taking your medicine. She might even force you if you're being really stubborn, she really doesn't want to see you getting even more sick because you're being difficult and she will not hesitate to tell you that.

She doesn't really know how to cook esprcially food that could actually help you heal so she'll mostly order delivery food trying to find the healthiest possible ones she can find. She does insist on also eating the food and splitting the cost for it as it's technically for both of you

"Come on y/n don't be a baby this medicine is the only thing that can help you, I don't care if it tastes bad you still need to take it"

Teruko tawaki (drdt)

When she heard that you were sick teruko immediately felt guilty, like it was somehow her fault. She feels like that everytime she hears something bad happened to you, she thinks you got hurt because of her luck and she can't forgive herself for that even if she has no evidence to prove it was because of that. She wants to try to help you get healthy to "make up for it"

Thankfully she has a lot of experience getting sick herself, not so much in taking care of other people bit she still hopes that it can help her. Most of the time she almost instantly knows what's wrong with you and what medicine to give you because she had way more illness than any normal person should in their life.

She tries her best to make this situation more comfortable but she doesn't really know how to. She wants to try to cook but she doesn't know how to and the best she can do for comfort is tell you her experience with the illness which usually doesn't work cause it sounds way more painful than what you're experiencing. She will cuddle you though because most likely she'll somehow get sick even if she wears a full hazmat suit so she doesn't care

"...y/n how do you feel?...ah ok...i'm sorry, I know you say it's not my fault but I still can't help but feel like it is somehow...i'm really sorry, well I guess the least I can do now is help you heal right?"

Akira ayasaka (drhd)

How is this the first time I realized that teru and Akira have the same va? I think subconsciously I already knew that but this is the first time I actually noticed, which is weird cause it's not the first time I wrote for them together

While Akira may look annoyed at the fact that you got sick and now she has to take care of you (mostly because now you can't go on dates for a while) she's actually pretty worried, she knows that there's always a possibility that someone who may know her...other job and ultimate may target you to get to her and having used poison before she knows how easy it is to make it pass for a natural illness

But after making sure that it was indeed just a normal sickness she started to actually take care of you, she fed you your medicine and while she's not the best cook she at least knows how to make soup so she'll do that too to help you

She's usually very affectionate and that doesn't stop even when you're sick. She's still bummed that you can't go out and so she'll still cuddle you, consequences be damned! She won't get sick anyway. You have to physically stop her from making out with you

"What was that y/n? Sorry I can't hear you with that coarse voice, man your sickness must really be hurting your throat huh? Sorry cutie but i'm not leaving your side anytime soon, if I do get sick then i'll take full responsibility, and it will have been totally worth it for this anyway"

Sara chidouin (yttd)

Sara has a generally pretty big sisterly type of personality that makes it pretty easy and enjoyable to take care of you in situations like this. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and happy even when you're sick.

Of course she makes sure you take all of your medicine and she might even get a bit too worried about that, buying too many medications to make sure you're always healthy, not even ones the doctor necessarily recommended but remedies she found online that could help. She also makes you soup and tea to soothe your throat, she's a pretty good cook when it comes to it especially with the tea.

She will actually verbally encourage you to fight your illness and it actually works somehow. Sara is great at motivating you to do anything and has that charisma that makes you feel like you could take on the world with her by your side so somehow the more she encourages you the better you actually feel

The grass was damp, the kind of cool moisture that seeped through your hoodie, but with Kaede on your left and Maki on your right, you hardly felt the chill. The sky over the Academy for Gifted Juveniles was unusually clear, a vast velvet curtain pinned back by a billion diamond shards.

Kaede was the one who had orchestrated this. She was currently humming a soft, wandering melody—something Chopin-esque—as she pointed toward the horizon.

"Do you see that one? It’s part of Lyra. I always think it looks like the bridge of a piano.

"I see it," you whispered, though truth be told, you were more focused on the way the starlight caught the gold of her hair. You shifted, resting your head on Kaede’s shoulder. She smelled like citrus and old sheet music.

On your other side, Maki was a silent, grounding presence. She wasn’t much for the poetic whimsy Kaede brought to the table, but she hadn’t complained once about the late hour or the dew. Her hand was tucked firmly into yours, her thumb tracing small, rhythmic circles over your knuckles.

"You're staring at the wrong spot," Maki said softly, her voice a low rasp that vibrated in your chest. "Look higher. Past the red giant. That’s where the actual constellations are."

"Expert astronomer now, Maki?" Kaede teased, leaning across you to grin at the ultimate assassin.

"I just spent a lot of time looking up when I couldn't sleep. It's better than staring at a ceiling." Maki didn't pull away, though her cheeks took on a faint dusty rose hue.

"I’m glad we’re out here. Just the three of us." You squeezed Maki’s hand, drawing her closer until the three of you were a tangled knot of warmth.

"Me too. It’s nice to feel small for a change, isn't it? Like the world is huge, but we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be." Kaede sighed contentedly, her head dropping to rest atop yours.

Highly affectionate. Kaede is a "heart on her sleeve" person. She shows it through encouragement, constant check-ins, and physical touch. If she likes you, you’ll never have to guess.

The friendship likely starts with her dragging you into a project or encouraging a talent you didn't know you had. As a best friend, she’s your #1 hype-woman.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

She loves them! She’s a "big spoon" despite her height, often wrapping her arms around you while humming a melody. It’s very rhythmic and soothing.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

She’s surprisingly organized. Cleaning is a breeze for her, but her cooking is basic. Expect a lot of "performance fuel" like pasta or toast. As for settling down, she loves the idea, though she's a bit nervous in how well she will actually "perform" her part of the dynamic.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

This would be devastating for her. She would try to be as kind as possible, likely crying more than you are. She’d want to stay friends, but only if it doesn't hurt you.

F = Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

She views commitment as a beautiful duet. She’s not in a rush to marry tomorrow, but she definitely dates with the long-term in mind.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Emotionally, she’s incredibly soft. Physically, she can be a bit clumsy or over-eager (she’s got strong pianist fingers!), but she always means well.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Frequent and firm. She gives those "deep breath" hugs where she squeezes you tight to make sure you’re okay.

She’s fast. Once she feels it, she can’t keep it in. It’ll probably slip out during a particularly beautiful sunset.

Not very. She trusts people easily. If she does get jealous, she’ll just pout slightly and try to "out-kind" the competition.

Sweet and melodic. She loves kissing your forehead or the tips of your fingers.

She is fantastic with kids. She’d teach them simple scales on the piano and have them captivated in minutes.

Energetic. She’s the type to throw open the curtains and talk about all the things you can accomplish today.

Very chill. She likes to wind down by listening to classical records or practicing her finger exercises on the bedsheets while you talk.

Her favorite moment is the first time you stayed to listen to her practice for hours without getting bored.

Very protective of your spirit. If someone insults you, she’s the first to step up and defend you. She likes feeling protected when she’s exhausted and needs a shoulder to lean on.

110%. Dates are planned with themes, and gifts are always thoughtful (often hand-written sheet music or personalized playlists).

Her "toxic" trait is being overbearing. She tries to solve your problems for you because she hates seeing you out of tune.

The second he sees your face, he drops any sort of act. He won't even ask what's wrong at first—he'll just pull you into a massive, rib-cracking bear hug that smells like cheap cologne

He'll give you a playful (but gentle) chop to the top of the head or a flick to the forehead. "Hey! Who told you that were were allowed to look gloomy? I won't permit it!"

Kaito isn't the type to sit in quiet contemplation. He'll immediately try to distract you with a "training session". This usually just involves a walk outside to "get some fresh air and perspective"

Expect a loud, passionate, and slightly nonsensical speech. He'll tell you that your problems are just "small meteors" and that you are a "supernova". Even if it's cheesy, his absolute sincerity makes it impossible not to smile

He'll look you dead in the eye and say: "Your soul is linked to mine, right? So if you're hurting, I'm hurting. Let's just split the pain 50/50 and knock it out together."

If you're really down, he'll take you to the highest point he can find (a rooftop, a balcony, or just a clear field). He'll point out constellations and tell you stories about them, his voice getting softer and more soothing as he talks

He's very hands-on. He'll keep an arm draped heavily over your shoulders or hold your hand with a grip that says "I'm not letting you sink"

If your bad day was caused by a specific person, Kaito will jokingly (or maybe not-so-jokingly) offer to "launch them into space". He'll come up with ridiculous space-themed punishments for whoever upset you until you're laughing

He'll buy you your favorite snack but claim he just happened to have it in his pocket

He'll make you do ten jumping jacks to get the bad vibes out of your body

He won't leave your side until he hears you laugh at least once. He considers it his duty as a hero

speaking: we’re back a full year later, people 😆 anyways, you weren’t disturbing me then and you're not disturbing me now🙂‍↔️ anyways, i'm not great at writing shy readers (cuz i’m a freaky gyal), but i gave it my best shot. slowly making my way through my drafts ! yay me!

The sun was high in the crystal blue sky. Another clear summer’s day. A few small clouds drifted by lazily, occasionally granting the people below with a few seconds of shade before continuing on their path.

Especially when you were one of the unlucky few to be caught outside in peak heat. You were sweating from places you didn’t even know you could, and your clothes clung to you uncomfortably. Fanning yourself was just needless exercise; the action it required far outweighed the reward of a slight breeze. "Kaito, seriously, why are we out here?" you groaned, wiping a bead of sweat from your eyes, just for it to be replaced a few moments later.

"You need at least 10 minutes of sun every day," Kaito replied, equally sweaty, but nowhere near as miserable. If he was miserable, he definitely had you and the passersby's' who gave him sideways glances fooled. You shook your head, eyes heavy from exhaustion that had nothing to do with sleep. "This is a bit extreme, don't you think?

As always, Kaito–infuriating Kaito- had an answer for that, too. "Nope," he said brightly. "Remember that summer I spent in the jungle?" he asked, locking his hands behind his head and gazing up at the sky.

How could you forget? It was so outlandish that you had a hard time figuring out which parts were real and which were hyperbole. Even so, you'd never call him out on his more than likely fictitious story. "Yeah," you responded, fidgeting with the wrapper of a popsicle that lasted less than a minute. "You almost got eaten by an...alligator or something?"

Kaito's head snapped in your direction, his face scrunched up in offense. You hid under the brim of your hat, biting the inside of your cheek to stifle your laugh.

"What? An alligator? Where did—," he stuttered, shaking his head. "It was an anaconda! A HUGE one, too, ” He swept his arms out, gesturing to the snake’s gigantic size. “Come on, I’ve told you this like, 10 times now."

You hummed in response, shoving your popsicle’s wrapping paper into your pocket. “I could’ve swore you said an alligator,” you teased, taking the moment of his offense to hide under a shop's awning. You sighed in temporary relief, taking your hat off. "Must've forgot."

Kaito beamed, completely oblivious to your poking fun. “Well, why didn’t you just say that! I’ll gladly tell you again,” he practically shouted, stepping under the awning himself. Somewhere in his mind, he was truly convinced that you wanted to hear his tale again. He propped his hand on his hip, his free one stroking his goatee as he began to recount the event. "So, after I came back from the sea-"

You turned in his direction, frantically waving your free hand. "No, no no, it's okay. I was just messing with you." If you didn't stop him now, he'd retell his brief moment as a modern-day Tarzan. Kaito shrugged and assumed a crouched position, his hand shading his eyes as he looked up at the sky.

The two of you stood in comfortable silence, relishing in the short reprieve from the sun's punishment. The streets were mostly empty now, a few people trudging along with clothes so damp, they looked like they had gone swimming. One girl–probably the smartest person you'd seen today–walked by with a white parasol, her attire significantly less sweaty than everyone else. You made a mental note to buy one the next time Kaito dragged you out in peak heat.

"Why'd you bring that up, anyways?" you asked, finally breaking the silence as you looked down at him.

Kaito looked up, his hair beginning to plaster to his neck. "Huh? Bring what up?" He asked, suddenly confused. You huffed, rolling your eyes at how quickly he forgot about his attempt at another retelling.

You turned slightly, making a slithering motion with your arm. "Your 'expedition' to the jungle? I was talking about how hot it is and you-,"

Kaito shot up suddenly, his fist hitting his palm like he had an EUREKA moment. "Oh! I was just saying that compared to that, this heat is nothing!" You tilted your head, almost in disbelief at his words. This was nothing? Kaito said some pretty outrageous things, but him sweating buckets and still saying this heat was nothing took the cake.

"Kaito, there's no way that-" you started before he cut you off again, his expression flat. Your brows creased at the sudden attitude shift. "You are right about one thing, though," he said, his voice an almost conspiratorial whisper. You tilted your head, curious about what it was that you were correct about. Maybe his delusions. Maybe his fantastical storytelling.

"What?" you asked, intrigued. He turned towards you, then, a smile as bright as the sun you hid from on his face. "It's too hot to be out here!" he beamed, moving from beneath the awning before you had the chance to register what he said. You sputtered, stunned by his turnaround.

He walked back in the direction you'd come from, his slides flapping with each step he took. You spedwalked after him, silently cursing him in your head for having such long legs. "Kaito," you called, holding down your hat. "Where are you going?"

Kaito turned in one smooth motion, walking backwards as to not break his stride. "Back home, ya goof. You want to go back in, don't you?" It was more a statement than a question. He knew you well enough to know you'd just tag along on whatever adventure you were going on until he got bored, or distracted, or both. Him taking initiative to assure your comfort over his own desire to explore...it touched you.

He held out his hand for you to take, looking expectantly at you. "Well, let's go. Before we stick to the sidewalk." You chuckled, readjusting your hat as you took his sweaty hand in your equally sweaty hand. Now this was an adventure you could really get behind.
