Im not asking for advice mostly just talking but ive recently been a victim of drugging and human trafficking and going to my family has just lead them to believe it was psychosis because I was fairly scared and paranoid when i started to remember and now im getting put on anti psychotics instead of being listened to. Its not a delusion, I heard, felt and saw him all in the same moment so if I cant trust that it happened based on that HOW can anyone trust that anything sees feels and hears is real
I'm really, really sorry you're going through this kind of gaslighting on top of what already sounds like a horrible trauma by itself. I guess it's not technically impossible to hallucinate something like that, but when someone confesses a big trauma to you, dismissing it as psychosis without proper investigation because it "sounds really unlikely" is probably one of the very worst things you can do. Unlikely things happen all the time, and I'm so angry you were met with accusations of being crazy instead of genuine concern and compassion.
