Twin Parallels, Adin + Mazlyn
During my session for VP earlier, I had to long rest to reset everything and it triggered the guardian scene. Since I had to get through it anyways, I took a couple of screenshots of our boys and I am a little obsessed with the comparison. They have grown and changed a lot since the old days, and I love where they are at now! Mazlyn's glasses have really added to his scholarly city boy look.

Left is from my first playthrough ever, a coop with our mutual friend Alice. Right is the first coop with Adin and Mazlyn in the same playthrough, because these two actually started as the first bg3 characters we ever made that just happened to have the same face and almost the same drow skin tone. They were not planned to be twins at all, but destiny spoke differently.
Shout-out to the "astarions glasses" mod on console for being the exact thing that I've been missing from Mazlyn's character design.
For his canon the glasses are enchanted with both the comprehend languages spell and the Cloak of Dark Power spell. The cloak of dark power preventing him from suffering from sunlight sensitivity (he was still born in the underdark after all), and the other for ease in research and adventuring.
Featuring his twin brother Adin Daevion'lyr, whom he was separated from as infants. Mazlyn was attacked and almost killed, resulting in the scarring on his face and throat. He was sold by their father to his current family in Baldurs Gate in an attempt to keep Mazlyn alive. The two of them don't reunite until they wake up on the Nautiloid together.
i was completely unaware that asking for boring sex from the male drow resulted in hilarious dialogue
HOWEVER. amid the suggestions of banging like you're a married couple or requesting simple missionary THERE'S A DIALOGUE OPTION THAT READS, "I DON'T NEED SEX LIKE THAT. I CAN JUST ASK GALE."
