Collision avoidanceTo identify objects in the surrounding space (moving and stationary), Dron John scans using a rotating lidar. Then this data is sent to a special algorithm that compares it with the map of the room and determines the position of the drone inside the room and the position of the surrounding objects. In the picture, you can see a map of the room, data from lidar, and data from an algorithm that evaluates the position of the drone in the room. So far, it is poorly configured and therefore shows some nonsense))) follow the news and you will see the difference after we set it up.

Back Ups . I never learnt the importance of back ups till I lost all these shots from Shelly . Some of my favourite photos I’ve taken over the last year . When I had thought I lost them I was gutted, a week went on and I thought they were gone for good until I went to check one of backup sd card’s from @verbatimaunz & noticed they were still sitting on the card . Rejoice I had them again! Couldn’t be more thankful for having a system of backing up all my data too a hard drive and a stash of SD cards . Have multiple backups people, don’t have all your nuts in one place #MemoriesThatLast . . . .

Stuck in a Rhythm . Lately I’ve been stuck in this negative, unmotivated headspace to go out and shoot daily or even once a week . I’ve been searching for new drone paradise’s, spots that I can create some unique and fresh content . They do exists & I’ve found a few but there not shootable currently with the suns position through winter . The current situation is making me change up my editing style, something that I can make my content feel new to me . It could also be the Winter Blues kicking in, with the struggle of having no car and it being 4-6 in the morning stopping me from riding a motorbike to unique & remote locations that I can access with public transport at 6am . . . . . .
