[GERMANY] Unsere Freundschaft ist unbezahlbar. (German: Our friendship is priceless.) _ Having this great Germany Riesling with secondary schoolmate during the Chinese New Year gathering. Definitely a good decision because the Riesling is definitely a popular demand and we managed to finish it within 15mins. As we grew up and heavily tied by our occupation, we hardly meet each other and gather together. I sincerely appreciate this gathering and hopefully will have another gathering soon. _ German Riesling is always my top choice when attending a dinner with lady guests. Pale yellow color white wine with 8.5% alcohol. Notes of peach, lemon and bit of apple aromas on nose while flavors of honey, pear, citrus, lemon on palate. Not really sweet, more on dry side, short finish with great acidity. Definitely my type of white wine. _ The problem is, I drank too much of sweet wine recently. So glad the Dr. Loosen Riesling is more on dry and fruity side. Wine with screw cap is always my secondary choice (although some of them are really great) due to no wine cap and wine cork to collect. Anyway, I figured out a way to collect them as well: using a mini tube cutter to cut down the cap into thin coin-like shape. Neste calor que tem feito em Campinas eu tenho abusado dos vinhos brancos, principalmente dos mais leves e aromáticos, como este gostoso Riesling alemão da popular, e respeitadíssima, vinícola @DrLoosenWines. . Este é o “Blue Slate Riesling Kabinett 2016”, um vinho meio-seco (com 41,3g/L de açúcar residual) elaborado com uvas provenientes de vinhedos em íngremes encostas da região do Mosel, na Alemanha, onde o solo é rico em ardósia azul, ou “blue slate”. . Na taça tem cor muito clara, amarelo-citrino, e exibe aromas intensamente florais (flores brancas) e mineral (petroláceo), com notas discretas de pêra e marmelo. Na boca tem dulçor leve, aromas cítricos, corpo leve e acidez média-alta. Tem longa persistência aromática e deixa a boca salivando. . Um belo vinho! Confesso que os vinhos “demi-sec” não são fáceis de me agradar mas este aqui é muito bem feito e elegante, com aquela mineralidade típica dos vinhos do Mosel, que me agrada. E com comida Thailandesa caiu como uma luva!
