oh this one is easy, lol. stefan's biggest " what if " is the what if he never turned into a vampire. stefan never wanted to be a vampire, ever. he didn't want to be immortal, he wanted to grow up, grow old, have a family and eventually die as humans do. stefan has the heart of a human, emily literally says to him " even in death, your heart is pure, stefan. it will be your curse. " and it is in fact a curse for him. he was never meant to be immortal, never meant or wanting to live a never ending life. he would not have drank katherine's blood if given the choice himself, he would have told her no and a big part of his distrust of her comes from when she was compelling him and feeding it to him for weeks without his knowledge. damon was the one with the choice, he practically begged katherine to turn him. damon was the brother that was meant for vampirism and immortality. as much as he blames stef for it, he loves it.
another thing that makes me sad is that he died at eighteen, eighteen years old. he was barely an " adult " when he died. his brain was not fully developed and it will never be. he's stuck at this age where he looks like a teenager but he is mentally more mature than most people, even humans who are physically older than him. not being able to grow up is a huge reason why he hates being a vampire. who wants to be stuck as a teenager ?
being human is something he yearned for, for 500+ years. even being 500+ at this point, he still pretends to be human. he tries so hard to live as humanly and as normally as possible for a long time. probably up until he becomes a ripper ( again ... ) in 1922. there are many times in his life where he has been up all night just imagining how his life would be. either if he was human in his own time period or human in the modern world, he has day dreamt about it over and over. what he'd be like as a dad, how he'd look old, how his body would change and his brain. so many little things humans don't think about on the daily. of course, being as old as he is now he tries to put that behind him, he tries to remind himself of the small things he enjoys about being a vampire.

๐ - Do you have any blogs you really enjoy writing with?
We'll yes, I've had several, and unfortunately they usually go down hill for one reason or another. I get hurt, or they dont care about something, or drama gets in the way- but that's just tumblr you know? People are different and that ends up hurting sometimes.
At the moment however, I am enjoying writing with @br1ars and @rachelambre in our college verse.
