2. How does your muse handle grief?

Arthur:

He shuts down. He closes off and buries himself in work. He doesn't really know how to process something like grief, so he tries to focus on other things like his responsibilities. He has this feeling that if he lets himself grieve, he'll be letting people down.

Kay:

Kay also distracts himself, but not with work. He tries to act unaffected and play it off like it doesn't bother him. He will drink more, though, and he tends to throw himself in more reckless situations. Anything to distance himself from his feelings.

10. What is the worst illness your muse has ever had?

Arthur:

When Arthur was a young boy, he caught a nasty illness that resulted in him suffering a horrible fever that left him bedridden for weeks. He was delirious and his father, Ector, was afraid he wouldn't survive it. He pulled through, though, and it left no lasting effects.

Kay:

Kay caught the same illness as Arthur, though to a much less severe degree. He has a pretty good immune system, so he doesn't tend to get very sick very easily.

15. What might others consider your muse's worst failing to be?

Arthur:

Those close to him probably consider his overworking and tendency to self-isolate to be his worst quality, but among the wider public, probably his favoritism. He definitely treats people he cares about differently than those he doesn't and it can show in how he prioritizes certain things or people.

Kay:

lucifer: never smokes. doesn't like the way it smells and doesn't want to accidentally endorse something that is so harmful to health. is endlessly annoyed with his brothers who do smoke anything at all, but can understand some of the benefits of cannabis in particular. has had an edible once but it was high dose and he conked out after like twenty minutes. he hated the experience. much more into alcohol.

mammon: biiiiiig into smoking & doing party drugs. in his tens of thousands of years of living, he has done it all: smoked p.ot, snorted c.rack off a hot demon's abs at a club, injected something that quite literally made him bounce off the walls, and has had all the m.ushroom tea until he was seeing double. a lot of addictive tendencies so his brothers have been trying to keep him away from most drugs, perhaps with the exception of cannabis due to its potential medical uses. big time p.ot smoker, doesn't really like cigarettes but sometimes vapes nicotine. is into all forms of cannabis consumption except for edibles because his tolerance is too high for most of them now. also drinks here and there.

leviathan: strongly prefers not to & to stay away from drugs since he likes to keep his mind sharp for gaming, but he has had a drink or two in the past as an adverse reaction / as part of a crash out due to a video game. has smoked w.eed a couple times in the past, it for the most part makes him extremely calm, giggly and incoherent.

satan: also prefers to stay away from smoking or vaping and doing drugs. has also had p.ot in the past, but finds the act of smoking very harsh on his throat, so if he's, say, at a party or a social event and wants to get high (which is very rare for him), he'll just take an edible or two. like leviathan, he also laughs a lot and finds a lot of things funny, as well as gets blissfully calm when he's h.igh. probably prefers to drink.

asmodeus: only engages in smoking when he's stressed or as a special treat. he doesn't want to get hooked on any kind of substances, especially cigarettes (mainly due to the smell), because he's afraid it will affect his health and beauty regimen. he mostly sticks to cigarettes and p.ot, and becomes a little incoherent and oddly quite emotional when he's st.oned. slightly prefers drinking, but is a lightweight.

belphegor: likes the feeling of getting stoned because it makes him sleepy, he just finds the hunger part annoying because he needs to get up and get food. doesn't really smoke anything other than w.eed, but that's only occasional. gets very lethargic when h.igh but also laughs at almost anything. doesn't really like to drink much either, he generally doesn't like the way the alcohol makes him feel.

vincent wasn't really sure what had initially drawn him to the stranger. he normally wasn't one to chat at bars, let alone hit up the other patrons; with men, he was much more reserved, knowing deep down that sharing such words would only attract the prying eyes, the listening ears that often tended to be so good at eavesdropping in these kinds of settings. and god forbid, something like that tended to lead to much worse things down the line. vincent had not only seen, but lived, that reality. he'd been one of those men to have been tripped long, long before he'd met his wife and conceived his son, after chatting with a stranger at another bar that must have come off as suggestive.

he'd blame the alcohol later, but there was almost an aura-like presence that drew him in, urged him to use the words that he had. 'dashing.' one would assume he'd learned from past experience; such a term wasn't one that had ever come to his lips, not in public, not outside of the confines of the barracks he and his lovers shared. he has to fight to curl his lip against the sudden awkwardness he felt, with the staring eyes and listening ears all around, he can't afford to have a repeat of that one night all those years ago.
