#Repost @craftbeercass Puzzle Palace. More like where the heck are all my puzzle pieces. This last year and a half, my palace of a life was put through the ringer. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE’S was. During the chaos of a year, I realized I needed a change. Change from my normal daily habits. Your girl is getting older and I noticed my physical and mental health weren’t as up to par as they should be. I began to realize my love for craft beer was doing some damage. Drinking has always been something I’ve enjoyed and thankfully have always done responsibly..However, I realized in order to improve myself, I needed to cut back and learn who I was without it being such a huge part of my life. The result? I have cut back with my craft beer drinking. Waaay back. ..And the results have been incredible. It’s been a journey and I still enjoy a good brew now and then but unlike before, craft beer isn’t one of the biggest parts of my life. Now, that comes to my Instagram page. Those lovely self-sabotaging thoughts have told me over and over, no one would care if I wasn’t posting about beer. Thus, my absence for so long. But the truth is, my life consists of so much more then just craft beer. I love craft beer and the craft beer community but I’d like to post about other things too. So that’s what I’m going to do. BUT I completely understand if as a result, you choose to unfollow me…but hopefully some of you still stick around for the ride 🤘🏻 My life is one BIG puzzle that forms a palace. It’s a group of women in the craft beer industry doing big & bold things. This year they received a 2021 @yakimachief hop blend of Cashmere, Ahtanum, Citra, Lora and Sabro to make this NEIPA. This brew has an amazing medium body that basically feels like every sip hugs your tongue. Expect tropical notes on the nose and mouth, it’s super smooth which even the non-IPA drinker will love this! It’s only the beginning for us women, not just in the craft beer industry BUT IN EVERYTHING A MAN CAN DO! Pouring this, you’re hit with an extreme boozy aroma. The taste however, is dark chocolate and coffee. I was surprised by how smooth it went down, with a tail end of heat. This was a very enjoyable imperial stout.
