It's not going too great just now. I'm about 2000 words behind the expected pace, and I don't know how I'm going to catch up. Also, I just really don't like what I'm writing.Â

I love the point about Anne being a woman of her time. I can’t imagine she was any less concerned with wealth/status...
The whole "scaring Anne to death" thing was new to me, but the book suggests that this happened towards the end of her life, when she was already quite ill, and there were all sorts of whispers that Richard had shunned Anne and was sleeping with his niece. So it's alleged that Richard spread rumors about her death so that she'd die quickly from the grief/shock of it.
Whatever the truth, Shakespeare obviously ran with it in his play. *sigh*
