The X-Men went down to Georgia, Kurt and Logan at the wheel The Professor’s mind, a new friend to find,  they were set to make a deal. They chased down sourceless music, one familiar fading tune Then met a man, fiddle in hand, who offered them a boon.

“Stranger things and local muties, well I’ve got a lead or two. But we’ve just met, so make a bet, before I’ll share ‘em with you. You both look like gambling men, so play a song with me. It ain’t your soul that’s my goal, so that info’s damn well free.”

Kurt and Logan nodded heads, they had names to spare But to the man with the fiddle in hand, they were not the brightest pair The man raised his fiddle and drew his bow lightning-quick And soon the air and atmosphere was filled with music

Kurt and Logan shook their heads and were dismayed For all their many talents, neither of them played! The man opened up with the Black Rider and Paganini Then followed it with Der Erlkonig and finished with Tartini

He played so well the stars came out and the sun hid in shame And Kurt and Logan knew right then they wouldn’t win this game The Logan said, “Well there’s no doubt, you make us sound like we’re all thumbs, But hold that horse, I’ve played before, if only on the drums!”

So Logan raised that fiddle and brought it down on the man’s head And lo and behold, the man changed from freckled pale to bright red He gave a shout and swore by all the fires of Hell He’d be back, ready to attack or his name wasn’t Azazel!
