A clock keeps ticking… from somewhere. Somewhere being relative as the clock tends to move. Not only does it move, it likes to add numbers and move them around. The last time N looked at the clock, it had read 111111111111111111 the ones trailing up and off of the clock face to float distortedly in the air.
”N? Are you paying attention to me N?”
“That isn’t my name.” N looks to the chair on the other side of the room. The being sitting there, doesn’t seem like it can decide on what it wants to look like. It keeps shifting around. Right now, a bunch of mouths float around a melting face. The room begins to mimic the strange creature. N pulls their leg’s up onto the chair as the rug underneath their seat smears and ripples.

Last night I had an intricate dream that I forgot like 90% of when I woke up but it was like sort of a cross between a farming simulator and a boarding school. Anyway the professors were all named after seasons but this was the only design I remembered when I woke up
The Tripoppy
What is the Tripoppy? What do they do? Are the friendly? All these questions and more will be answered promptly. But first, they look like this:
Tripoppy is an egregore, or a dream entity that arises from the collective unconscious. The idea that Tripoppy embodies is one of unrestrained psychological exploration. They encourage those who want to explore their mind to go even deeper, to step out of their comfort zone and plunge into the murkiest depths between their brain folds. What makes Tripoppy dangerous is that they have no limit to how far you should go.
Tripoppy's influence is strongest under the effects of psychoactive substances, and therefore encourages their victims to indulge without limit. They say those who fully submit to Tripoppy's influence become lost within themselves. Ironically, in the quest to find one's self, going too far means losing who you are.
Nothing is ever enough for the Tripoppy. Getting too comfortable only makes Tripoppy more needy for further exploration. It is what they feed on.
All hope is not lost however. Ceasing psychological exploration starves the Tripoppy of its source of nourishment. Even going from an intense mode of exploration to a tamer method is enough to make the Tripoppy falter.
They may guilt you or itself, but do not be fooled. It is only a desperate bid to survive. Otherwise, they will find a new victim to encourage and lose their psychic meal.
Being a dream entity, Tripoppy is a being of pure imagination. What makes them different from other dream entities is that change and exploration is core to their modus operandi. As such, they can shape and form their body into anything they like, although this form seems to be their favorite at the moment. A chimera of horns, wings, and fuzzy fur that seems to melt in on itself
The world as we know it is experiencing a global rupture. Ever since the 90s, humanity has become disillusioned thanks to the information boom brought on by the internet. Tripoppy sees this as an opportunity to create a global shift in consciousness, where all of humanity will find it within themselves to perceive the world further than what they know.
But as with all things, for the Tripoppy, "further" is never enough.
