*Disclaimer: I don’t encourage others to interact/harass wildlife!! The Horde lives on my work property and I have little choice but to interact. We have strict rules that are followed at all times, like ‘If you touch me, nobody gets breakfast.’ 😂 That rule has remained unbroken to this day, but I always ensure extra precautions when dealing with wild animals.* 

There’s a creek that runs through my work property that is connected to a nearby river. Occasionally, an otter will make their way through that creek in search of food. Every so often, I’ll get to see one as they make this journey! The name Pascal came directly from Animal Crossing (iykyk) 😂 Disclaimer: Do not harass wildlife! I make sure to keep a safe distance between us (for both our sakes) at all times. The creek comes close to the walkway, so he was very aware of where I was and very curious about me 😁

Hiram is the only one with a name because he’s the only one I can tell apart from the others 😂 While, I don’t normally offer scoopers full of food to birds and wildlife (and definitely don’t encourage others to harass wild animals!), something about Hiram was just different. There will definitely be more to come on our quirky little friendship, but for now enjoy this video of Hiram demanding his afternoon “snack” 😁
