The Constitution of India came into force from 26 January 1950. (World's largest Constitution ): Let us inform that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had prepared the constitution in two years, 11 months and 18 days and dedicated it to the nation. The Constitution of India is the largest in the world. It consists of 448 articles, 12 schedules and 94 amendments. The Constitution of India is a handwritten one. It has 48 articles. (Constitution Day on 26 November): It was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 and was implemented with a democratic government system on 26 November 1950. Constitution Day is celebrated to remember the contribution of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and to spread the importance of the Constitution. Constitution Day was celebrated for the first time in 2015 by the Government of India. On 29 August 1947, the drafting committee of the Constitution of India was established, in which Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was appointed as the chairman. Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad etc. were the prominent members of this assembly.
