Drake was mortified. He wasn’t exactly a big name. Nowhere near big enough to be considered for a movie role, he thought. But he had been proven wrong when the director approached him about a role in the film. He almost never considered acting before that moment, but he knew better than to say no to such a huge opportunity. The book was pretty popular; he knew of it and didn’t pick up a book too often so he figured it at least had a following. He took a flight to the city where filming would commence and problems didn’t start long after. His manager made the mistake of booking his room at the wrong hotel, and Drake wasn’t able to find out until he was in the lobby. He had some money on him, but not even enough to cover one night of the two weeks he originally had planned. And due to the difference In timezones, his manager was fast asleep so any attempt to contact him were futile. He thought hope was completely lost when he saw a familiar face walk through the hotel’s doors: Ethan. He talked to the author a couple times since being casted, hopefully enough for him to be able to do the young model-turned-actor a favor.
“Hi.” He greeted as he approached the older, a smile on his lips to hide the distress he was in. “My team booked me the wrong hotel, it’s like two hours out, and I can’t get anyone to fix it right now. You think I could crash on your room’s couch for the night? I don’t really know what else to do.”
