#dragonbreath

Recently I've been trying my hand more at an art style I'm familiar with doing, more to the point where I'm just used to it more than anything else that I've drawn before.

That being the Dragonbreath/Kingfisher art style

At first it was just random things like Danny, and the bottle rocket that was mentioned a few times throughout the books.

Then I drew Mrs. Dragonbreath, and enjoyed how well it turned out.

Then, as more of a little experiment, I made what seemed to be some little creature, whether it was a talking shrub, I'm personally not sure.

I still feel like there's room for improvement anyway.

Around the same time, I was able to interact with Kingfisher, and got some nice compliments relating to some of the Dragonbreath x Gorillaz artwork I made a while back, which I'm still proud of, and it also gave me more motivation to keep doing the art style.

Of course I was still just doodling and doing whatever I felt like doing, so if you ever see yourself looking at an image of Danny Dragonbreath as the Scout from Team Fortress 2, you'll know who to thank.

Then for some reason, after a moment of thinking, something clicked inside me and I doodled a cool looking hamster with a vest.

. . .and I decided that's how I should draw myself, sorta.

It wasn't fully like that until some small interaction that left me wondering if I'm really that socially awkward, and I did a doodle expressing it. It was originally gonna be apart of another drawing but I never fully finished it, so here's the hamster just rambling away.

It was sort of how I felt personally.

Then, shortly before (or during) my birthday, I made a small little doodle of the hamster enjoying some cake.

Such a happy little fella.

Then, later on my birthday, I got hit with the most unexpected gift of all time that I wasn't even fully expecting at all.

All the Digger books/volumes, including a book of sketches from the artist.

I doodled this as a little exciting response:

Shortly after starting the first book, I immediately fell in love with it, especially because the art style, compared to Dragonbreath, it's more accentuated, so I decided to do a little art style test with what I've learned, alongside with a good reference.

I then got bored, and wanted to experiment, and try something out.

I AM SO SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG WITH THIS ANON! I'll be honest, I didn't had many ideas and I felt quite unmotivated because I felt mine wasn't as original, I've seen what others have done and just felt... I don't know, as if I didn't had anything else to offer? I think I now have something, more or less to offer, I'll admit I'm not very confident on this nor I think I'll be expanding on this AU Of course, this is only following the canon of the game, no Derek, nor AU. Except being a recovery one.

White Happy (Lyrics) Survivors AU: When Jimmy put Curly on the Cryostasis pod and shot himself, the bullet trasspassed his skull and broke a pipe that was connected to the active pod, with the damage of the ship caused by the crash, it ended up freezing the whole Tulpar. They were found 2 years later by persistent demand of their relatives and investigations against Pony Express and DragonBreath. After finding them and receiving Swansea, Daisuke and Anya's testimonies, once Jimmy recovered, he was sent to court to face his crimes.
