I dreamt that they were going to release a new live-action Death Note and that for some reason I could see the actors playing Near and Mello up close (like, inspected them like they were mannequins, it was weird) And I noticed that they both had rings, Mello a silver one and Near a gold one, so i freaked out (in the best way) and was like are they married???? But then I thought, "Nah, they wouldn't make it canon," and I theorized that maybe the rings were some kind of symbolism about Mello always being in second place and Near in first or something but then, when I search in my phone some fanart (bc i knew this stuff would trigger fanart) someone was also pointing out, like in those post about a detail only captured in blurred pixels of a screenshot, that the rings had the other person's initial engraved on it!
And since I still had the actors-mannequins in front of me i checked and they did indeed had the initials of the other person's name engraved...i was about to post a photo in detail on Tumblr when I woke up, and now in writing in Tumblr about my dream

I really wish more people considered why Obanai hates Tanjiro rather than reducing it to just Jealousy. Sure jealousy (and envy which I never see mentioned despite Obanai probably wanting to spend more time with Mitsuri that he doesn’t have and Tanjiro does during the training arc) can be part of why Obanai has ill feelings for Tanjiro but it’s not the only reason. Onions have layers!!
